SHERIFF’S REPORTS
The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office:
ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON: Dan D. Fallis, 54, of Hopland, was booked at county jail June 5 on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, threats, false imprisonment, and illegal possession of a firearm. He was arrested by the Ukiah Police Department.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: John D. StraussHealor, 26, of Fort Bragg, was booked at county jail June 5 on suspicion of domestic violence and false imprisonment. He was arrested by the Fort Bragg Police Department.
ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON: Emmett J. Williams, 25, of Fort Bragg, was booked at county jail June 5 on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and illegal possession of a firearm. He was arrested by the MCSO.
POSSESSION WITH PRIORS: Timothy I. Davis Jr., 46, of Covelo, was booked at county jail June 6 on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance with priors, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license and violating his parole. He was arrested by the MCSO.
DUI: Victoria A. Fallis, 58, of Covelo, was booked at county jail June 6 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested by the MCSO.
POSSESSION WITH PRIORS: Rolando R. Ruiz, 36, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail June 6 on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance with priors. He was arrested by the UPD.
DUI CAUSING INJURY: Javier D.T. Silva, 27, of Redwood Valley, was booked at county jail June 6 on suspicion of driving under the influence causing injury and driving on a suspended license. He was arrested by the California Highway Patrol.
DUI: Julio Del Villar Acevedo, 28, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail June 7 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a license suspended/revoked for DUI and violating his probation. He was arrested by the CHP.
DUI: Shannon M. Noone, 32, of Fort Bragg, was booked at county jail June 7 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested by the CHP.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Alejando L. Lopez Garcia, 19, of Fort Bragg, was booked at county jail June 8 on suspicion of domestic violence, kidnapping, false imprisonment, attempted robbery and violating a protective order. He was arrested by the MCSO.
ILLEGAL DIVERSION OF WATER: Francisco E. Perez, 31, of Clearlake Oaks, was booked at county jail June 8 on suspicion of marijuana cultivation and illegal diversion of water, and possession of an assault weapon. He was arrested by the MCSO.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Mark E.A. Smith, 32, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail June 8 on suspicion of domestic violence. He was arrested by the UPD.
DUI: Kevin D. Wood, 40, of Willits, was booked at county jail June 8 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and cruelty to a child. He was arrested by the CHP.
Those arrested by law enforcement officers are innocent until proven guilty. People reported as having been arrested may contact the Daily Journal once their case has been concluded so the results can be reported. Those who feel the information is in error should contact the appropriate agency. In the case of those arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant, all DUI cases reported by law enforcement agencies are reported by the newspaper.
