It’s the end of the road for Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof at Manchester United.
The Red Devils have confirmed the trio will depart upon the expiration of their contracts in June.
Lindelöf’s time at Manchester United is upGettyJoining Lindelof, Evans and Eriksen out the exit door are academy players Hubert Graczyk, Jack Kingdon, Sam Murray, Tom Myles, James Nolan and Tom Wooster.
However, they remain in discussions to extend goalkeeper Tom Heaton’s deal for the 2025/26 season.
Heaton, 39, returned to Old Trafford in 2021 after 11 years away having come through United’s academy.
Although he’s made just three first-team appearances during his second stint, Heaton’s experience behind the scenes had proved invaluable and is a key reason why the club wanted to extend him for another season.
Eriksen signed off with a goal in his 108th and final match for the club as he scored from the penalty spot during United’s 2-0 win over Aston Villa.
Evans and Lindelof were also involved for their 241st and 284th appearances for the Red Devils respectively.
