Lamine Yamal was in no mood to congratulate Portugal on their Nations League triumph as he was spotted headed down the tunnel during their celebrations.
The 17-year-old couldn’t add the Nations League to his ever-growing trophy cabinet as Spain lost on penalties in the final at the Allianz Arena on Sunday.

Portugal skipper Cristiano Ronaldo was overcome with emotion following Ruben Neves’ winning spot-kick, as he fell to the floor, where he then failed to hold back the tears.
It was Ronaldo’s 61st minute equaliser – his 138th goal in international football – that sent the game to extra-time, where like Yamal, he was not involved in the shootout.
But he was front and centre in his side’s jubilant celebrations as they lifted the trophy on the pitch in front of the dejected Spain squad.
As the Euro 2024 winners clapped Roberto Martinez‘s men, Barcelona starlet Yamal couldn’t contain his disappointment.
In footage that has gone viral, the teenager could be seen refusing to clap as his teammates were doing.
Instead, he headed straight for the tunnel on his own as Queen’s iconic ‘We Are the Champions’ started playing across the PA system.
In a touch of class, Ronaldo was quick to praise Yamal following Portugal’s triumph, as he insisted he is destined for greatness in his career.
It was the first time that the two men have stepped foot on the pitch together.

Speaking of the La Masia graduate, Ronaldo stressed the need for patience surrounding the winger.
The five-time Vallon d’Or winner remarked: “He’s only 17, and already he’s showing incredible talent.
“He’s going to win a lot of titles, both collective and individual. He is a phenomenon.”
Ronaldo then added: “But we have to leave him alone, that’s what I ask.
“He has a very long career ahead of him and will surely win the Nations League many times.”
For Ronaldo, attention now turns to his own future as he approaches the end of his contract at Al Nassr.
