Experts from the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecast intensely hot weather across North Sinai governorate on Saturday, during daylight hours, transitioning to moderately warm temperatures at night and in the early morning.
According to the EMA, temperatures in North Sinai’s cities are expected to range between 15°C and 36°C. Specifically, El Arish recorded temperatures between 18°C and 31°C, Rafah between 17°C and 30°C, while the central Sinai cities of El Hasana and Nekhel saw readings between 15°C and 36°C.
The authority further added that warm weather will prevail along the northeastern and northwestern coasts, as well as central Sinai. The Nile Delta will experience warm to hot conditions, while the rest of the country will be hot to intensely hot during the day, with moderate temperatures across all areas at night.
The Authority indicated that horizontal visibility will be reduced in dense mist in the morning, which may reach thick fog, affecting northern Egypt up to northern Upper Egypt, Canal cities, and Sinai.
