Naveen Condoles Demise of Former MLA Mohammad Rafiq ...Middle East

Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal President and Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Odisha Assembly Naveen Patnaik has condoled the demise of former MLA Mohammad Rafiq.

Taking to his ‘X’ handle, Naveen said that he was saddened to learn about the passing away of former legislator Mohammad Rafiq.

The BJD President highlighted Rafiq’s significant contributions to the development of the Bargarh region, describing his work as unforgettable.

Naveen extended his sympathies to Rafiq’s bereaved family and prayed peace to the departed soul.

Rafiq was elected to the Odisha Legislative Assembly from the Melchhamunda constituency in 2004. The veteran BJP leader passed away on Friday. He was 71.
