Police were investigating after a shooting Sunday at the Newport Beach Pier left a man injured.
Officers are investigating after a man was shot in the lower body, said Sgt. Steve Oberon with Newport Beach police around 9 p.m.
Police didn’t immediately specify the man’s condition or if he was hospitalized after the shooting.
No information was immediately available regarding a motive for the shooting or if any suspects were apprehended.
CBS LA footage from the scene appeared to show at least six police cars surrounding the area.
