A 16-year-old boy has been charged with first-degree murder and aggravated robbery following the April shooting death of another teenager in Denver’s Lowry Field neighborhood.

Yzaguirre was taken to a hospital, where he died more than a week later, according to Denver police and the Office of the Medical Examiner. Biruck was arrested April 18.
Denver District Attorney’s Office spokesperson Matt Jablow confirmed in an email that Biruck has been charged as an adult.
Biruck’s next court hearing is scheduled June 13.
