A MAJOR motorway is facing long delays after a multi-vehicle crash.
Queues on the M60 are snaking back for five miles with delays of nearly an hour as drivers battle a nightmare commute.
Two lanes clockwise are closed from Junctions 27 to 1 in Greater Manchester, and there currently heavy congestion to Junction 23.
National Highways North West said on X: “There are delays in excess of 45 minutes on the #M60 clockwise between J27 and J1 for #Stockport
“This is due to a multi vehicle collision. Lane 2 and 3 (of 3) closed. Emergency services on scene.
“There is congestion of approx. 5 miles in the area. Please plan ahead.”
