A large fallen tree landed on power lines, blocked a roadway, and interrupted power services for dozens of customers in La Jolla early Wednesday.
The tree hit power lines and obstructed traffic near Mt. Soledad in the 6100 block of Calle Vera Cruz, according to San Diego Gas & Electric.
Calle Vera CruzThe ensuing outage stretched from Mission Bay to Pacific Beach, with at least 63 customers reported without power for several hours.
Motorist were advised to avoid the area until debris was cleared.
SDG&E estimates the power will be fully restored by noon.
