(KRON) – The parents of one of the survivors of the devastating car crash in Marin County that claimed the lives of four teenage girls are speaking out.
The tragedy occurred when the six girls were riding in a Volkswagen Tiguan that hit a tree on San Geronimo Valley Road just west of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard Friday night.
One of the crash survivors, Marley Barclay, is a 14-year-old freshman at Archie Williams High School. She is currently in critical but stable condition at an East Bay hospital.

There are no words for the sorrow we share. We grieve beside you and hold you close in our thoughts every moment.”
GoFundMe pages made for families affected by deadly Marin County crashMarley’s family expressed gratitude to the Good Samaritans and first responders who assisted at the scene, calling them brave. According to Jessica and Ross, one of the Good Samaritans was a woman who pulled Marley from the SUV. Marley’s parents asked for assistance in identifying Marley’s “guardian angel” to thank her personally.
According to Jessica and Ross, Marley was not the driver, and all the girls were wearing seatbelts.
The family asks for privacy as Marley heals and that they will “share updates when appropriate.” Her parents explain, “Wild speculation, rumor and conjecture is merely exacerbating what is already an excruciating process for all involved.”
Marley's parents are hourly workers and are taking time off to take care of Marley. To assist Marley's family, here is the link to their GoFundMe.
