Physical altercation leads to fatal shooting in Pittsburg ...Middle East

(KRON) – A physical altercation led to the death of a juvenile and another minor being hospitalized, according to the Pittsburg Police Department.

At around 7:18 p.m. on Saturday, Pittsburg police officers responded to Belle Harbor Circle for the report of gunfire. Arriving officers found a minor suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medical personnel took the victim to a local hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

Pittsburg PD said a short distance away, officers located another male juvenile who had also sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Police said aid was rendered, however, the minor was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to detectives, the shooting was the result of a preceding physical altercation.

The identities of the victims are being withheld.
