Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Koraput district has been honored with the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration 2024.
The district has been selected in the ‘Holistic Development of Districts’ category for its remarkable achievements in governance, sustainable development, and inclusive growth.
Koraput Collector V. Keerthi Vasan will receive the award from the Prime Minister during the Civil Services Day event on April 21, 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, as per reports.
Under Vasan’s leadership, Koraput has excelled in innovative governance, leveraging technology to improve service delivery and citizen engagement, while advancing healthcare, education, and infrastructure.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has congratulated the Koraput Collector and the team for the achievement.
“Congratulations to @dmkoraput and their team on being selected for the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration 2024.
