YOUNGSTOWN — Mickele J. Glenn, 35, was arrested today and taken to the Mahoning County jail on murder and aggravated burglary and gun specifications in the Nov. 2, 2023, shooting death of Edward Lewis, 53, on Oneta Street on the West Side.
Glenn was secretly indicted on the charges Thursday by a Mahoning County grand jury. Friday morning, the U.S. Marshal’s Service took Glenn into custody on the charges without incident, according to a Youngstown Police news release.
Lewis was found dead inside a home in the double-digit block of Oneta Avenue, according to Youngstown police. Oneta Avenue is near Salt Springs Road. Officers were called to the home for a deceased male at about 10:28 a.m. and found it to be true. The police department at the time said it did not have a suspect or suspects.
In the release, the Youngstown Police Department thanked the U.S. Marshal’s Service and Youngstown Police detectives, led by Detective George Anderson, for their work on the case.
