The third ODI between New Zealand and Pakistan took place at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui. It was a terrible outing for the Mohammad Rizwan-led side as they suffered a disappointing 43-run loss to face the third straight defeat in the series.
Pakistan were one over short of the stipulated target, and following that, Jeff Crowe of the Emirates ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees imposed the sanction. While on-field, umpires Chris Brown and Paul Reiffel, along with third umpire Michael Gough and fourth umpire Wayne Knights, leveled the charge.
