Arizona State men’s basketball received another commitment for its 2025 class, landing four-star power forward Jaion Pitt on Wednesday, according to On3’s Jamie Shaw.
The 6-foot-7, 215-pound big man from Bella Vista College Preparatory School in Scottsdale is the No. 85 overall player in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
He is also the No. 3 overall prospect in the state and held offers from Utah State, California and Oklahoma State.

Pitt is the fourth verbal commitment in the 2025 high school class for head coach Bobby Hurley. ASU also added guard Trevor Best, who already joined the team and played in 11 games, as well as center Fridrik Leo Curtis and fellow power forward Kash Polk.
The Sun Devils have lost guard Joson Sanon (St. John’s) and center Shawn Phillips Jr. to the transfer portal. Center Jayden Quaintance will reportedly explore entering the portal.
Best, Adam Miller, Austin Nunez and Amier Ali remain as scholarship players, while Moe Odum (Pepperdine) and Marcus Adams Jr. (CSUN) are incoming transfers.
