(KRON) -- An earthquake struck in the East Bay on Tuesday afternoon, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The magnitude-3.0 quake was reported around 4:58 p.m. just west of Dublin.
The epicenter of the earthquake is near Dublin Boulevard, just west of Scahefer Ranch Park, according to coordinates released by USGS. The depth of the earthquake was recorded at about 6.8 miles (or 10.6 km).
