DENVER (KDVR) — Arrowhead Elementary School is "on hold" after police said they found a student with an apparent weapon.
The Aurora Police Department confirmed with FOX31 that officers received a report of a weapon in the school. A student was located, and after a pat down, the student was found with "what appears to be" a weapon, according to a department spokesperson.
It is currently unclear what the apparent weapon may be.

Students and staff are instructed to stay in the classroom until the situation is resolved, but behind classroom doors, it's business as usual, according to the Cherry Creek School District.
