The incident took place in the 18th over when the West Indies star was standing at the non-striker's end while Dhruv Jurel was facing Spencer Johnson. It was the fourth ball of the over, and the Australian fast-bowler bowled a full delivery outside the off stump.
Fortunately, the ball hit the pad and Shimron Hetmyer did not suffer any injury. In the meantime, he lost his balance while trying to evade the ball and fell on the ground. Johnson quickly collected the ball in an attempt to run out Shimron Hetmyer.
However, the Rajasthan Royals batsman hurriedly put his bat inside the crease in a hilarious fashion. And in doing so, he lost his balance once again and was lying flat on the ground. The cameras then showed Shimron Hetmyer having a hearty laugh while he was still lying on the ground.
