Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are in a spot of bother ahead of the IPL 2025. The Rishabh Pant-led side are mulling over the fitness of their key pacers. There is no clarity as of yet if Avesh Khan, Akash Deep, and Mayank Yadav will be available for the season or not.
Since the last few days, there also have been reports that Lucknow Super Giants will be roping in Taskin Ahmed as one of the replacements. If that happens, he will be the only Bangladesh player that will feature in the ongoing edition as others went unsold.

Taskin Ahmed added that he has spoken to BCB and if Lucknow Super Giants calls him, there won't be issues with NOC. He explained:
"The first thing is that I need to get the call. If selected, I am hopeful about getting the NOC. Based on my discussions with the board, there shouldn't be any problems with the NOC this year."
