Walmart has confirmed its partnership with Nozzleman Pizza, a name that has been quickly rising within the fast food industry.
Nozzleman also has deep ties to the first–responder community, being co-ounded by a retired firefighter with 25 years of service, Jesse Corletto.
The chain plans to open up in 17 Walmart locations across six states this year, with rapid growth being eyed afterwards.
The first one debuted in Carson City, Nevada.
More will open inside Gardnerville, Fallon and Reno Walmart stores by late summer, as reported by Business Wire.
Further expansion is expected in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming, and Utah.
Plans to open in all 50 states may come eventually.
Corletto’s business partner Robert Powells said: “Walmart is an iconic American brand with an unparalleled customer base.
“We couldn’t dream of a better collaboration than with a company that shares our commitment to the communities we serve.
“The opening of our store in Carson City represents the first step in an ambitious growth strategy that blends quality food with our mission of supporting the first responders who serve our communities.
“With Walmart locations, our franchisees have the potential to tap into high-foot-traffic stores with a very loyal customer base helping to ensure financial stability.
“We would love for people to come join our family and become franchisees of a wonderful brand.”
FAMOUS INVESTORS
Nozzleman was originally opened to honor first responders, and each location donates a portion of its proceeds to local fire stations.
Nozzelman is also backed by some famous faces.
It has received backing from investors like Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi from Jersey Shore.
Polizzi grew up in a firefighter family, reinforcing the links between Nozzleman and the community.
