An updated wind advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 11:08 p.m. in effect until Thursday, Mar. 13 at 6 a.m. for Antelope Valley.
The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA said, “Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” according to the NWS. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
