Team India defeated New Zealand by four wickets in the final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, March 9. They completed the tournament without losing a single match.

Virat Kohli had an impressive campaign in the Champions Trophy. He was dismissed for just one run in the final against New Zealand. The batter finished the tournament with 218 runs in five matches, averaging 54.50 with a strike rate of 82.88, including one century and one half-century.
The 36-year-old will next be seen in action in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, which will begin on March 22. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will take on the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the season opener at Eden Gardens.
