CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A house fire in the Griers Fork community has been ruled accidental, the Charlotte Fire Department confirms.
The fire happened around 5:20 a.m. on Friday, March 7, on Musket Lane at Merimac Drive. This is near Sandy Porter Road. Thirty firefighters controlled the blaze in 20 minutes.
Investigators believe an electrical malfunction in a bathroom caused the fire. It is estimated that the fire caused $125,000 in damages.
