(KRON) -- All lanes of westbound Highway 24 in Orinda are shut down Wednesday, according to the California Highway Patrol. Officers are on the scene investigating a possible freeway shooting.
CHP responded at 10:27 a.m. on a report of a possible shooting, authorities told KRON4. Officers are sweeping the freeway for shell casings on westbound Highway 24 west of Camino Pablo to the Caldecott Tunnel.

The closure is expected to last until approximately 11:45 a.m., CHP said. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes and expect delays.
