Sacramento city leaders vote to move forward with Truxel Bridge proposal that would allow vehicles ...Middle East

A special meeting was held by the city to discuss several options that included allowing vehicles on the bridge. 

Back in mid-January, an advisory committee unanimously voted to recommend that the city council shouldn't consider allowing cars on the proposed bridge over the American River.

If built, this would be the first new bridge built in Sacramento in half a century.
