Mrs. Christine (Teenie) Carver, age 91 of the Difficult Community, died Wednesday morning, February 12 at Knollwood Manor in Lafayette. She is survived by: children, Shelia Carver Grigg and husband Frank of Kempville, Ronnie Carver and wife Mary Williams Carver of Difficult; 4 grandchildren, Heather Grigg of Kempville, Alicia Davenport and husband Christopher of Kempville, Elizabeth Rankin and husband Brad of Manchester, Aaron Carver and wife Madison of Difficult; 4 great-grandchildren, Owen Davenport and Beau Davenport, Sophie Rankin and Jameson Carver.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Carver will be conducted on Monday morning, February 17 at 11:00 AM at Defeated Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Eld. Kevin Graham and Eld. Shawn Shepherd will officiate. Interment in the Defeated Creek Memorial Gardens with Eld. Rickey Hall officiating. Serving as pallbearers are: Rusty Williams, David Cassity, David West, Leslie Cook, Aaron Carver, Brad Rankin, Mikey West, Eld. Rickey Hall.
Visitation at the Hackett Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home in Kempville will begin on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM and at the Church on Monday from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
The family has requested memorials to the Defeated Creek Missionary Baptist Church
