Carter does not appear to have a physical injury. He is listed with an illness on Philadelphia’s injury report. Carter was a limited participant in the Eagles’ practice session on Wednesday, but returned to full participation in drills on Thursday and Friday.

Carter will almost certainly be ready to play for Philadelphia when the Eagles face the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.
Eagles DL depth chart
Carter’s projected backup on Philadelphia’s depth chart is Thomas Booker IV. However, Booker, who appeared in 17 regular season games and logged 18 total tackles in his first year with the Eagles, shouldn’t need to be called into the action to replace Carter on Sunday.
