The rapper—who recently reunited with his F&F co-stars Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez for a new Häagen-Dazs Super Bowl ad—shared what he thinks Walker's reaction would be to seeing the longtime friends reunite for the 45-second spot.
"He would definitely smile," Ludacris, 47, exclusively tells Parade. "Definitely smile."
"I know that Vin doesn't do as many commercials, so I knew it really meant something. And it was great. So I was just very happy to be a part of it and to bring the Fast family obviously together, once again, and the nostalgia of being on the West Coast," he says before detailing the cast and ice cream brand's philanthropic efforts to help those affected by the California wildfires.
Ludacris, who performed at last year's Super Bowl Halftime show with Usher, also tells Parade that having their Fast & Furious director Louis Leterrier supervise on set as award-winning cinematographer Lance Acord directed added a familiar element to the shoot.
"We are a true family and I think that's what's really dope about it," he says.
