It’s hard to imagine topping a statue on campus, but A’ja’s jersey retirement ceremony might have done just that. With tears in her eyes, she thanked her supporters, including her parents and head coach Dawn Staley, before watching her jersey lifted into the rafters. The former South Carolina great was understandably emotional as she took everything in ahead of a South Carolina-Auburn matchup.
