Austin-Travis County EMS and the Austin Police Department responded to an "auto vs pedestrian" crash at the intersection of Jollyville Road and Thunder Creek Road shortly after 6 a.m., according to posts on X from both agencies.
ATCEMS said medics attempted resuscitative efforts, but the person was pronounced dead on the scene. ATCEMS said the person was an adult, but no other details were provided.
