Orange County Restaurant Week returns for its 17th year, bringing a week of deals, prix-fixe menus and innovative dishes and cocktails from Sunday, March 2 through Saturday, March 8.
More than 200,000 people dine out during OC Restaurant Week, which is one of O.C.’s largest culinary events of the year, . This year, upward of 200 eateries will take part in the week-long culinary spotlight, featuring dedicated prix-fixe menus at spots from Brea, like Cedar Creek Inn and Toast Kitchen, down to San Clemente, like Parlor and Vine.

Subscribe here.Other names will include Benny and Mary’s in Irvine ($25 for lunch, $125 for dinner), Fermentation Farm in Costa Mesa and at San Juan Capistrano’s River Street Marketplace, Flemings Steakhouse of Newport Beach ($60 for dinner), Izakaya Osen in Irvine ($150 for dinner), Khan Saab Desi Craft Kitchen in Fullerton (offering a Desi meal box featuring a starter, sides, dessert and entree from $25 to $45 per guest), Lola Gaspar in Santa Ana, Miàn Sichuan Gourmet Noodles in Costa Mesa ($20-$25 per person), Wild Goose Tavern also in Costa Mesa aand many more. Restaurants will continue to add their menus as the Restaurant Week date nears.

Lunch menus are priced between $15 and $25, with dinner options starting at $25 and beyond.
Date night locations, restaurants offering deals for couples seeking an amorous vibe, include Irvine’s Izakaya Osen ($150 per person), Inka Mama’s in Tustin ($105 for two), Lōrea of Huntington Beach ($45 per person) and Simply Fish in Costa Mesa ($65 for two), to name a few.
Seven restaurants will offer special wine pairing menus, with more than 30 eateries offering cocktail specials during the week-long celebration of OC’s dining scene. Family-friendly restaurants, like Dizzy Bird ($25 dinner that feeds 3 to 4) and Pita Feast ($50-$60 for a family feast), will be available, as will a litany of vegetarian spots, like A&O Restaurant and Eureka!, for those who eschew a carnivorous lifestyle.
Neither tickets nor passes are required. Diners can simply make a reservation or show up at participating eateries.

An exclusive launch party will take place at the Marriott Irvine Spectrum on Saturday, March 1 from 2 to 5 p.m. Fare from a handful of OC restaurants — ranging from Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken and Red O Restaurant to Scratch Bakery and Sushi Roku — as well as wines from Paso Robles, craft beer, cocktails and mocktails will be on hand to help kick off Orange County’s gastronomic week.
Tickets for the launch party, which can be purchased online via Eventbee, cost $130. This will be a 21-and-over event.
