In the upcoming episode of the brand-new TLC series, Baylen Out Loud, Baylen travels to Dallas, Texas, to attend a convention held by the Tourette Association of America. There, she meets a group of new friends who bond over their experiences with Tourette Syndrome.
In an exclusive clip from the new episode, Baylen has a candid conversation with the new friends she met at TIC-CON, one of whom points out, "Obviously, a lot of our tics look different."
"I didn't realize that I had Tourettic OCD," another friend at the table explains, "where like I have to do things like a certain amount of times or like something bad will happen."
"That's insane that your dad went that long without any answers," Baylen responds.
Speaking in a confessional, another person from the convention tells the cameras: "The hardest part about living with Tourette Syndrome i think—I don't know—on hard days, you know, wishing that you weren't here anymore."
