After the Life & Beth star was called out for having a "puffier" face than usual, Schumer initially thought she was just dealing with social media trolls—but she later realized they were alerting her to something more serious.
"When I was going through, I guess it was like a year ago, and the internet really came for me after doing a bunch of press, and I was like, 'OK, everybody like, relax,'" Schumer revealed during a recent appearance on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast. "But then doctors were chiming in in the comments."
After first thinking she was getting "trolled by doctors" in the comments, Schumer, 43, eventually realized they may have been on to something.
"I had something called 'moon face,'" the Trainwreck star explained, noting that she learned about the diagnosis right before filming her upcoming Netflix comedy, Kinda Pregnant.
