The Chicago Cubs and Houston Astros reportedly have a deal in place for 36-year-old closer Ryan Pressly, just as Bob Nightengale sort of reported last night. And although there was some initial pushback on how “done” that deal was, we’ve officially arrived at the inflection point. The deal is reportedly done per Jon Heyman, and now we’re just waiting on Pressly to waive his no-trade clause. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get an answer in either direction very soon, so stay tuned.
