With these quick wickets, Johnson brought the Brisbane Heat back into the game, but Jake Fraser-McGurk’s remarkable knock of 95 runs was enough to take the Melbourne Renegades over the line with 12 balls to spare and three wickets in hand in the Big Bash League 2024-25 clash in Melbourne.
For the Renegades, Adam Zampa and Callum Stow both have snared four wickets together against the Heat. Chasing the challenging target, Melbourne didn’t have a great start, losing the opener Tawanda Muyeye for just three runs, but then Jake Fraser-McGurk’s explosive assault pushed Heat backfoot.

After being adjudged Player of the Match, Jake Fraser-McGurk stated, “Happy with the way we turned up today. Everyone contributed today, and hopefully, a few results go our way.
