As a father and a grandfather of young girls who participate in organized sports, I salute Assemblymember Kate Sanchez for introducing a bill banning anyone born as a biological male from competing against young girls in high school sports.
In Novembers election, American voters sent a clear message that our country was headed in the wrong direction, and we needed change.
With the passage of Proposition 36, and proposals from leaders like Assemblymember Sanchez, maybe California voters are finally ready for some much needed change as well. Let’s hope the Assembly comes to its senses, and this bill becomes law.
