Oscar Delp will return to Georgia for the 2025 season.
He announced that news on social media on Tuesday afternoon. The Georgia tight end could have turned pro this offseason, but will instead be back in Athens in 2025 to help the Bulldogs get back to the College Football Playoff.
Here’s his announcement:

Delp is a big part of Georgia’s offense. He caught 21 passes for 248 yards and 4 touchdowns this past season while splitting targets with fellow tight end Lawson Luckie. With both of those players currently set to return in 2025, Georgia figures to have one of the best tight end rooms in the country next fall.
Delp’s presence will also be important for Gunner Stockton, who seemingly will enter the spring as Georgia’s presumed starting quarterback. Delp and Stockton are roommates, so having him back will presumably help UGA’s quarterback both on and off the field.
Barring injury, the 2025 season will be Delp’s final year of collegiate eligibility.
