Jemimah Rodrigues was the star performer for the India Women's National Cricket Team in the ongoing match against Ireland with the bat. The right-hander produced a staggering effort with the bat and made sure that she helped her team put a big total on the board in what is a virtual series decider.
Rodrigues first slammed a solid half-century, and after that, she didn't look back. She took the attack to the Ireland Women's National Cricket Team bowlers and smashed them all over the park. The wait for maiden ton then finally ended for her as she reached the milestone in 90 balls.

Talking about her innings, Jemimah Rodrigues said that it means a lot to her as she waited for a very long time to get her ton. She said that she wanted to be there for the team till the last over. She also talked about her 183-run partnership with Harleen Deol (89). Speaking after the innings, she said:
"But it is just that feel of batting till the end - that was the thought process, and I'm glad I was able to do that. The hundred just came along. Initially, I took some time getting used to the conditions. I know at any moment I can accelerate, I have that game. But it was important for me to stay there. While I was doing that, Harleen kept telling me "just keep playing, keep playing".
