Brady Cook wrapped up a legendary career with Mizzou on Monday night. In his final game, Cook led the Tigers to a 27-24 win over the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Music City Bowl.
After the game, Cook took time to address the university and his fans on the field and in a social media post.
“To the 12-year-old version of myself, I’m living out that little kid’s dream. And it’s meant everything to me,” said Cook. The QB grew up in St. Louis and was a lifelong fan of the Tigers. Now, the QB ends his career with another bowl win and back-to-back seasons with double-digit wins.
“That’s a wrap. Thank you Mizzou nation for coming along this journey with me. MIZ forever. And by the way, that’s 10,” said the QB on social media after the game.

The QB was also the team’s leading rusher, taking 14 carries for 54 yards. Cook led the team on a drive that resulted in a game-winning FG late in the 4th quarter and went on to win Music City Bowl MVP honors.
Cook ends his Mizzou career at No. 4 in career passing yards and No. 5 in passing TDs for the school. Over 46 games with the Tigers, Cook threw for 8,964 yards with 48 TDs and 15 INTs. The Tigers made a bowl game in each season with Cook as the starter.
