Police Saturday were investigating a fatal hit-and-run collision in Reseda.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department were called at 9:36 p.m. Friday to the 18600 block of Saticoy Street, west of Reseda Boulevard, where they found the victim, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
Witnesses told officers a vehicle was driving east on Saticoy when it struck the victim, a pedestrian, and failed to stop and render aid.
A vehicle or driver description was not immediately available.
The victim’s age, name and gender were not known.
