Siraj missed the first ball before ducking to the short ball by Australia National Cricket Team skipper Pat Cummins. On the last ball of the over, the pacer showed proper defense, inviting huge applause from the crowd at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
As the players walked back to the dressing room after the rain, players gave a standing ovation to Nitish Kumar Reddy and, after that, were seen praising Mohammed Siraj for the way he negotiated three balls to allow the all-rounder to get to his century in the match.

Nitish Kumar Reddy, along with Washington Sundar (50), brought India back into the game with their 127-run partnership. The all-rounder is still at the crease with India 116 runs behind. At stumps, they were at 358/9 and would be hoping to take the deficit under 100 runs.
