Firefighters battle San Diego Apartment Fire ...Middle East

Crews were battling a structure fire that broke out at an apartment building in San Diego today.

Units were dispatched around 3:30 p.m. Sunday to 6121 Fairmount Ave., near the intersection of Twain Avenue in the neighborhood of Grantville, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

A total of 30 personnel were assigned to the fire, including four engines, two trucks and one medic, officials said.

No injuries or evacuations were immediately reported.
