Elton John Makes Big Career Announcement Amid Health Battle ...Saudi Arabia

During a recent appearance on The Late Show that was booked to promote his Disney+ documentary, Elton John: Never Too Late, the 77-year-old revealed that he is still working on new projects–including music–even while he undergoes treatment for vision loss. 

"You will be getting some more," the legendary musician told host Stephen Colbert on Tuesday as transcribed by Rolling Stone. "The juices have never dried up. They never want to dry up because I’m always looking to create things."

"It’s just having the space now to do it on my own time," he explained. "Of course, there will be new Elton John music."

At the time, John said because of his limited vision, "It’s been a while since I’ve done anything." He explained that recording new tunes is difficult as he "can't see a lyric," which left him feeling "stuck." Still, he said he considers himself “the luckiest man in the world.”
