MORGANTON, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A man has been charged after driving into Morganton Fire Department's garage while impaired following a hit and run. According to the Public Safety Department, officers responded to the Bojangles on Burkemont Ave on Monday, Dec. 9, about a hit and run. Before they arrived, Morganton Fire Station 3, also on Burkemont Ave, called saying a vehicle drove through the garage door and hit a firetruck.
