IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Two men have been charged with first-degree murder in connection to a 2011 homicide, according to the Iredell County Sheriff's Office. On Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, officers with the Statesville Police Department responded to the Myrtle Place Apartment about a shooting. When they arrived, they found Joey Brewer with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died, officials said.
