Bhubaneswar: A junior clerk at the office Sub Registrar, Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar was caught by Vigilance sleuths while she was taking bribe of Rs 20,000 from a person for execution of Registered Sale Deed (RSD) of subplot. The junior clerk has been identified as Debajani Kar. The entire bribe amount has been recovered from possession of Kar and seized. Following the trap, simultaneous searches are going on at two locations of Kar from DA angle, the Vigilance said. In this connection, Bhubaneswar Vigilance PS Case No. 26/2024 U/s 7 PC (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered against accused junior clerk.
