We still must be a nation of laws I read with interest Lloyd Seaton’s thoughtful response to my letter which you had kindly printed Nov. 27. One of his points was that deportation of all those here illegally is impracticable. The inference: We shouldn’t bother trying. I respond: Whether or not the quest is impractical should not, in the least, prevent the effort. The quest for perfect health will always be beyond our reach; the goal of crime-free communities likewise is utopian and “impractical,” but we continue to move toward these impractical goals.
