(KRON) -- Police are investigating a homicide after finding the body of a deceased person Thursday morning in West Oakland, according to the Oakland Police Department. Authorities were called to the 2300 block of Campbell Street at 8:15 a.m. after being notified of a deceased individual. Officers located the body in the area, OPD said.
