CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A man is dead after being shot inside a car in south Charlotte, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. Just before midnight on Friday, officers responded to the 12800 block of James Blakeney Ave about an accident with injury call. When they arrived, they found a man inside a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
