ATCEMS posted on X at 9:56 a.m. that medics and Austin Fire Department firefighters were on the scene of a reported tunnel collapse with one patient involved. The post said it was near 8709 N. Interstate 35 Service Road northbound, which is close to Park Plaza Drive. ATCEMS said the patient had been extricated from the tunnel by firefighters and was being prepped for transport.
